Bruins acquire Daniel Paille

Today the Bruins acquired left wing Daniel Paille from the Buffalo Sabres for Boston's natural third round pick in 2010 and a conditional fourth round pick in 2010. He should be available to play Wednesday night against the Nashville Predators.

Paille has appeared in 195 career games in the NHL - all with Buffalo - and has amassed 35-42=77 totals and 54 penalty minutes. Originally drafted by the Sabres in the first round (20th overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the 25-year-old Paille enjoyed his best season statistically in 2007-08 when he set career highs in games played, goals, assists and points after tallying 19 goals, 16 assists for 35 points in 77 games.

Last year, the 6'0, 197-pound forward registered 12-15=27 totals. He has skated in two games this year and recorded one assist for Buffalo.
